WE'RE WATCHING…YOU WERE PHONING!!!
TOGETHER WE HAVE STOPPED THE ACORN ASSISTANCE BILL
CONGRATULATIONS!
We want to thank each and every one of you for what you did to let Wisconsin legislators know that you “were watching” and you care deeply about protecting fair elections in the State of Wisconsin.
But, there is still one issue hanging in the balance:
There is a federal mandate called the MOVE ACT, which requires Wisconsin to have electronic registration and voting for overseas and military voters so that their votes are counted on Election Day. Representative Roger Roth, Republican and Iraq veteran --- introduced an amendment to AB 895 to make Wisconsin compliant to the MOVE ACT. It was the Democrats that rejected this proposal and they may accuse Republicans of denying our military voters timely access to voting. We cannot let that stand without correction.
The governor may call a special session to take up this issue. We will continue to “watch” AB 895/SB640. We may need you to once again perform your patriotic duty of letting your legislators know what you think!
We will be “watching” and keeping you informed.
