For Republicans, one might say Charlie Crist has hit the “Campaign Be-Trail”! First, he abandons party and principle...then refuses to give campaign refunds back to donors disgusted by his party switch. Now he's praising an amnesty scheme for illegal aliens and embracing Obama’s High Court nominee, the far-left Elena Kagan!
In an interview with the St. Petersburg Times, “Turncoat” Charlie was asked what he thought about Elena Kagan. His reply? "A lot. I think she'd do a great job." Crist added: "Isn't that fun?”
That's right: Charlie Crist, fresh from betraying every conservative principle he claimed to believe in has now embraced Elena Kagan, Barack Obama's radical Chicago crony. Kagen banned U.S. military recruiters from Harvard Law School, and today says she’s “not sympathetic” to the 2nd Amendment's absolute Right to Bear Arms.
But that's just the kind of support Obama can expect from Charlie Crist in the U.S. Senate. Crist has proven he'll betray his state, his stated beliefs, his lifelong supporters and friends...all for his shameless personal ambition.
Charlie Crist has been called a lot of things since his betrayal of his values and his party: traitor. Judas. Turncoat. Liar. (And some stronger than that!)
But there's one thing we can't ever call Charlie Crist: SENATOR. Help us stop him!
