A Doyle Third Term
Today, the Obama White House is swooping into Madison at the Democratic Party State Convention to coronate their handpicked successor, ‘Tom the Taxer’ Barrett, to continue the disastrous Jim Doyle policies for the next four years.
Tom the Taxer has been in lock step with the Doyle administration, supporting an $810 million boondoggle train from Milwaukee to Madison, championing global warming legislation, supporting a combined reporting tax that is threatening Harley Davidson – and the list goes on and on.
And now Tom the Taxer is trying to distance himself from his record of supporting the Doyle agenda – even the Wisconsin State Journal has noticed!
That’s why it’s more important than ever before to help Scott change the course in Madison!
If you thought the big taxing, big spending habits of Jim Doyle are bad, just wait until you see what Tom the Taxer has up his sleeves.
In 1993 as a congressman, Barrett voted for the largest tax increase in federal history to hike taxes by $241 billion.
While in congress, Barrett voted AGAINST small businesses 80% of the time.
In congress, Barrett voted against almost every effort to relieve taxes, including efforts to reduce and repeal the marriage penalty and death tax.
In congress and as mayor, Barrett has supported extremist environmental policies which threaten over 100,000 Wisconsin jobs.
Barrett has raised tax and fees in EVERY budget he’s presented since being elected mayor, including this year’s 4.4% hike to the property tax levy.
